International Human Rights Law Educator
—

I am an international human rights law professional, educator, and policy specialist with more than 15 years of experience advancing the rule of law, criminal justice reform, and gender justice in Afghanistan and other conflict-affected environments. My work has involved legislative reform, judicial modernization, institutional development, and efforts to strengthen access to justice and accountability. I currently teach international human rights law to law students inside Afghanistan and write on international law, accountability, and the impact of emerging technologies on human rights. My teaching and research reflect my commitment to legal education, equal protection, and justice. My recent work focuses on the intersection of human rights and technology, particularly responsible AI, non-discrimination, data privacy, and corporate accountability. Building on my LL.M. in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from American University Washington College of Law, I seek to contribute to AI governance, digital regulation, and cross-border legal and policy initiatives that strengthen human rights protections and institutional oversight. I hold an LL.M. in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, a bachelor's degree in law and political science, an MBA in Leadership, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. I work across four languages and bring a combination of legal training, public-sector experience, policy analysis, and institutional leadership to my work.
